Will you wait for me.
Will You Wait for Me.
Why do things fade.
I think that’s just how things are made.
We ask how long will it last?
And then are left to dwell in the sweet past.
Its just the little things we miss.
Like a new, first time kiss.
Filled with so much.
But then it turns to dust.
Left dumbfounded, spinning in a haze.
Can it just be a phase.
Or will it come back?
Like a super heart attack.
Put those important things on hold baby.
Don’t you know I’m so cold.
She’s feeling forgotten.
Love isn’t suppose to go rotten.
But, that’s how life goes.
It’s like a dying rose.
Sometimes, the bliss only stays for a while.
Hoping it’ll be back after a short mile.
Please come back to me.
The sweetness, I want to see.
Go back in time.
And throw away the dime.
Remember to hold tight to me.
I want it how it used to be.
Things come up and feelings get forgotten.
I just don’t want anything stoppin.
So say you’ll go back.
To the things we lack.
Replace them will the spark.
And put everything else on park.
